The Commencement of the Great Departure
वैशम्पायन उवाच श्र॒त्वैवं कौरवो राजा वृष्णीनां कदनं महत् | प्रस्थाने मतिमाधाय वाक्यमर्जुनमब्रवीत्
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: śrutvaivaṁ Kauravo rājā Vṛṣṇīnāṁ kadanaṁ mahat | prasthāne matim ādhāya vākyam Arjunam abravīt ||
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்—அரசே! குரு அரசன் யுதிஷ்டிரன் இவ்வாறு வ்ருஷ்ணிவம்சத்தாரின் பெருஞ்சங்காரச் செய்தியை கேட்டபின், மகாப்ரஸ்தானத்திற்குத் தீர்மானித்து அர்ஜுனனிடம் இவ்வார்த்தைகளைச் சொன்னான்।
