आहत्य च यशो दीप्त॑ सुयुद्धेनात्मनो भुवि । विसृज्य शरवर्षाणि प्रताप्य च दिशो दश
āhatya ca yaśo dīptaṁ suyuddhenātmano bhuvi | visṛjya śaravarṣāṇi pratāpya ca diśo daśa
சல்யன் கூறினான்—இந்தப் பூமியில் நற்போரால் அவன் தன் புகழை ஒளிரச் செய்தான்; அம்புமழையைப் பொழிந்து பத்துத் திசைகளிலும் தன் வீரப் பெருமையை உணர்த்தினான்।
