विस््रस्तयन्त्रकवचा: कांदिग्भूता विचेतस: । अन्योन्यमवमृदनन्तो वीक्षमाणा भयार्दिता:
visrastayantrakavacāḥ kāndigbhūtā vicetasaḥ | anyonyamavamṛdnanto vīkṣamāṇā bhayārditāḥ ||
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—அவர்களின் போர் இயந்திரங்களும் கவசங்களும் வழுந்து விழுந்தன. அவர்கள் திசைதெரியாமல், அறிவிழந்து; எத்திசை ஓடுவது எனவும் தீர்மானிக்க இயலவில்லை. அச்சத்தால் துன்புற்று, ஒருவரை ஒருவர் மிதித்துக்கொண்டு, நாலாபுறமும் நோக்கினர்.
