Transliteration

hatvā tān puruṣavyāpraḥ pāñcālānāṃ mahārathaḥ

Translation

சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்— அவர்களை வீழ்த்திய பின், பாஞ்சாலர்களின் அந்த மகாரதன், மனிதப் புலி, போரில் இடைவிடாது செயல்பட்டான்; இங்கு வீரத்தின் வர்ணனையோடு உயிர் பறிப்பதன் கனத்த அறநெறிப் பாரமும் இணைந்து ஒலிக்கிறது.
