देवाधिदेव ब्रह्मा और महादेवजीके ऐसा कहनेपर इन्द्रने सम्पूर्ण प्राणियोंको बुलाकर उन दोनोंकी आज्ञा सुनायी ।।
sañjaya uvāca | śrutaṃ bhavadbhir yat prokte bhagavadbhyāṃ jagaddhitam | tat tathā nānyathā taddhi tiṣṭhadhvaṃ vigatajvarāḥ ||
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—“உலக நலனுக்காக அந்த இரு தெய்வீக ஆண்டவர்கள் அறிவித்ததை நீங்கள் கேட்டீர்கள். அது அப்படியே நிகழும்; வேறாகாது. அதற்கு மாறாக நடப்பது இயலாது. ஆகவே நீங்கள் உறுதியாக இருந்து, கவலையின்றி இருங்கள்.”
