एवं कृते भवेत् कार्य देवानामेव निश्चितम् । आत्मकार्य च सर्वेषां गरीयस्त्रिदशेश्वर
evaṁ kṛte bhavet kāryaṁ devānām eva niścitam | ātmakāryaṁ ca sarveṣāṁ garīyas tridaśeśvara |
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்— இது நிகழ்ந்தால் தேவர்களின் நோக்கம் நிச்சயமாக நிறைவேறும். முப்பது தேவர்களின் தலைவனே! தமக்குரிய நியதிக் கடமை எல்லாவற்றிலும் மேலானது. ஆகவே கர்ணன் தைத்தியப் பக்கத்தவன் என்பதால் அவனை வீழ்த்த வேண்டும்; அதனால் தெய்வப் பணி உறுதியாக நிறைவேறும்.
