तव पुत्रास्तत: कर्ण सबला भरतर्षभ । परिवत्रुर्महात्मानं क्षिप्रमाहवशोभिनम्,भरतश्रेष्ठ) तदनन्तर सेनासहित आपके पुत्र युद्धमें शोभा पानेवाले महामनस्वी कर्णको शीघ्र ही सब ओरसे घेरकर खड़े हो गये
tava putrās tataḥ karṇa sabalā bharatarṣabha | parivavruḥ mahātmānaṃ kṣipram āhavaśobhinam ||
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—பரதகுலச் சிறந்தவனே! அதன் பின், உமது புதல்வர்கள் தங்கள் படைகளுடன் சேர்ந்து, போரில் ஒளிவீசும் அந்த மகாத்மா கர்ணனை விரைவில் எல்லாத் திசைகளிலும் சூழ்ந்து நின்றனர்.
