ततो5भवद् युद्धमतीव दारुणं तवाहितानां तव सैनिकै: सह । रथाश्वमातड्रविनाशनं तथा यथा सुराणामसुरै: पुराभवत्,इसके बाद आपके शत्रुओंका आपके सैनिकोंके साथ अत्यन्त दारुण युद्ध होने लगा, जो रथों, घोड़ों और हाथियोंका विनाश करनेवाला था। वह युद्ध प्राचीन कालके देवासुर- संग्रामके समान जान पड़ता था
tato ’bhavad yuddham atīva dāruṇaṃ tavāhitānāṃ tava sainikaiḥ saha | rathāśvamātaṅga-vināśanaṃ tathā yathā surāṇām asuraiḥ purābhavat ||
அதன்பின் உமது பகைவர்களுக்கும் உமது படைகளுக்கும் இடையில் மிகக் கொடூரமான போர் எழுந்தது; அது ரதங்களையும் குதிரைகளையும் யானைகளையும் அழிக்கும் படுகொலையாக இருந்தது. அது பழங்கால தேவர்கள்–அசுரர்கள் போரைப் போலவே தோன்றியது.
