तस्थौ सुविह्वल: संख्ये प्रहारजनितश्रम: । अथ द्रोणस्य समरे तत्कालसदृशं तदा
tasthau suvihvalaḥ saṅkhye prahārajanitaśramaḥ | atha droṇasya samare tatkālasadṛśaṃ tadā
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—போரில் அவன் மிகுந்த கலக்கத்துடன் நின்றான்; தொடர்ந்த தாக்குதல்களால் வந்த களைப்பால் சோர்ந்திருந்தான். அப்போது துரோணரின் அந்தப் போரில், அந்தக் கணமே காலன் வந்ததுபோல் ஒரு நிகழ்வு ஏற்பட்டது.
