अहं त्वामनुजानामि वीर्येण च बलेन च । जहि कर्ण रणे शूर मातज्रमिव केसरी
ahaṁ tvām anujānāmi vīryeṇa ca balena ca | jahi karṇa raṇe śūra mātaṅgam iva kesarī ||
நான் உனக்கு அனுமதி அளிக்கிறேன்; வீரமும் பலமும் உனக்குத் துணையாக நிற்கட்டும். வீரனே, சிங்கம் மதங்கொண்ட யானையை வீழ்த்துவது போலப் போரில் கர்ணனைச் சாய்த்து விடு.
