त्वत्समं त्वद्विशिष्टं वा कर्ण मन््ये महारथम् । परम॑ यत्नमास्थाय त्वया वध्यो महाहवे
tvat-samaṁ tvad-viśiṣṭaṁ vā karṇa manye mahāratham | paramaṁ yatnam āsthāya tvayā vadhyo mahāhave || prayāhi śīghraṁ govinda sūtaputra-jighāṁsayā ||
கர்ணன் உனக்கு இணையானவனோ, அல்லது உன்னைவிடச் சிறந்தவனோ என நான் கருதுகிறேன்—மகாரதன். ஆகவே மகாபோரில் மிகுந்த முயற்சியுடன் நீ அவனை வதம் செய்ய வேண்டும். கோவிந்தா, சூதபுத்திரனை வதம் செய்யும் உறுதியுடன் விரைந்து புறப்படு.
