कर्णस्य सेनापत्याभिषेकः | Karṇa’s Consecration as Commander-in-Chief
चित्रमार्गेण विक्रम्य विकर्णेन हतो मृथे । विचित्र युद्ध करनेवाले चित्रायुध समरमें विचित्र रीतिसे पराक्रम करते हुए कौरव- सेनाका महान् संहार करके अन्तमें विकर्णके हाथसे मारे गये
citra-mārgeṇa vikramya vikarṇena hato mṛdhe |
விசித்திரமான முறையில் முன்னேறி, போர்க்களத்தில் விகர்ணனின் கையால் அவன் கொல்லப்பட்டான். வித்தியாசமான போர் நெறியுடைய சித்ராயுதன், சமரில் அசாதாரண வீரத்துடன் கௌரவர் சேனையில் பெரும் அழிவை ஏற்படுத்தி, இறுதியில் விகர்ணனால் வீழ்த்தப்பட்டான்।
