अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

नरेषु च महाराज कृतं सम कदनं महत् । महाराज! सूतपुत्रने हाथियों, घोड़ों, रथों और पैदल मनुष्योंके दलमें घुसकर बड़ा भारी संहार मचा दिया था
nareṣu ca mahārāja kṛtaṃ sama kadanaṃ mahat |
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—மகாராஜா, வீரர்களிடையிலும் சமமாகப் பெரும் படுகொலை நிகழ்ந்தது. சூதபுத்திரன் கர்ணன் யானை, குதிரை, தேர், காலாட் படைகளின் நடுவே புகுந்து மாபெரும் அழிவை ஏற்படுத்தினான்.
