तद् दृष्टवा महदाश्षर्य प्रत्यक्ष स्वर्गलिप्सया
tad dṛṣṭvā mahad āścaryaṃ pratyakṣaṃ svargalipsayā
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—அந்த மாபெரும் அதிசயக் காட்சியைப் பார்த்து—வானுலகம் கண்முன்னே வெளிப்பட்டதுபோல்—வானுலகம் அடையவேண்டும் என்ற வேட்கையால் (வீரர்கள் மேலும் முன்னேறினர்).
