मध्ये सेनामुखे कर्णो5प्यवातिष्ठत दंशित: । चित्रवर्माड्भद: स्रग्वी पालयन् वाहिनीमुखम्
madhye senāmukhe karṇo 'py avātiṣṭhata daṁśitaḥ | citravarmādbhutaḥ sragvī pālayan vāhinīmukham ||
சேனையின் முன்நிலையின் நடுவில் கர்ணனும் ஆயுதம் தரித்து உறுதியாக நின்றான். வண்ணமயமான கவசம், அங்கதம், மாலை அணிந்து, வியூகத்தின் வாயிலில் முன்னணிப் படையைப் பாதுகாத்தான்।
