प्रमुड्चन्तं बाणसंघानमेयान् मर्मच्छिदो वीरहण: सुपत्रान्
pramuñcantaṃ bāṇasaṅghān ameyān marma-cchido vīra-haṇaḥ su-patrān
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—அவன் அளவிட முடியாத அம்புக் கூட்டங்களைப் பொழிந்தான்—அழகிய இறகுகளுடன், உயிர்நாடிகளைத் துளைக்கும், வீரர்களை வீழ்த்தும்—அதனால் போரின் கொடுமை உயிர்கொல்லும் துல்லியத்துடன் மேலும் தீவிரமாயிற்று।
