कर्ण उवाच ईशानस्य यथा ब्रह्मा यथा पार्थस्य केशव: । तथा नित्य हिते युक्तो मद्रराज भवस्व न:

Transliteration

karṇa uvāca īśānasya yathā brahmā yathā pārthasya keśavaḥ | tathā nitya-hite yukto madrarāja bhavasva naḥ ||

Translation

கர்ணன் கூறினான்: ஈசானன் (சிவன்) பால் பிரம்மா எவ்வாறு, பார்த்தன் (அர்ஜுனன்) பால் கேசவன் (கிருஷ்ணன்) எவ்வாறு நிலைத்த நம்பிக்கையுடன் இருக்கிறாரோ, அதுபோலவே ஓ மத்ரராஜா! எங்கள் நிரந்தர நலனில் நீ உறுதியாக இணைந்திரு.
