samudram akṣama-sṛjan dānavālaya-muttamam | saptarṣi-maṇḍalaṃ caiva rathasyāsīt pariṣkaraḥ ||
துரியோதனன் கூறினான்— தானவர்களின் சிறந்த வாசஸ்தலமான சமுத்திரத்தை நான் கட்டுப்பாட்டு கயிறாக (அச்சுப் பிணைப்பு) அமைத்தேன். மேலும் சப்தரிஷி மண்டலம் அந்த ரதத்தின் பரிஷ்கரமாக—உபகரணங்களும் பாதுகாப்புச் சாதனங்களும்—ஆயிற்று.
