बलवन्तो महात्मान: कौन्तेया: सत्यविक्रमा: । बल॑ शेषं न हन्यूमें यथा तत् कुरु पार्थिव,'भूपाल! बलवान, महामनस्वी और सत्यपराक्रमी कुन्तीकुमार मेरी शेष सेनाको जिस तरह भी नष्ट न कर सकें, ऐसा उपाय कीजिये
sañjaya uvāca | balavanto mahātmānaḥ kaunteyāḥ satyavikramāḥ | balaśeṣaṃ na hanyūme yathā tat kuru pārthiva |
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—குந்தீபுத்ரர்கள் வலிமைமிக்கோர், மகாத்மாக்கள், உண்மைப் பராக்கிரமம் உடையோர். ஓ அரசே! அவர்கள் என் மீதமுள்ள படையை அழிக்க முடியாதபடி ஒரு உபாயம் செய்.
