सज्यमस्य धनु: कण्ठे व्यवासृजत भारत । भारत! राधापुत्र कर्णने बारंबार हँसते हुए उनका पीछा करके उनके गलेमें प्रत्यंचासहित अपना धनुष डाल दिया
sajyam asya dhanuḥ kaṇṭhe vyavāsṛjat bhārata | bhārata! rādhāputraḥ karṇaḥ bāraṃbāraṃ hasan tasya pṛṣṭhataḥ anugamya tasya kaṇṭhe pratyāṅcāsahitaṃ svaṃ dhanuḥ nyaveśayat |
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—பாரதா! அவன் இழுக்கப்பட்ட (சஜ்ஜமான) வில்லைக் கழுத்தில் சாயவிட்டான். அப்போது ராதேயன் கர்ணன் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் சிரித்தபடி அவனைத் துரத்தி, தன் வில்லைக் கயிறுடன் சேர்த்து அவன் கழுத்தில் போட்டு விட்டான்।
