दण्डधारवधः | The Slaying of Daṇḍadhāra
तामापतन्तीं जग्राह चित्रो राजन् महामना: । ततस्तामेव चिक्षेप प्रतिविन्ध्याय पार्थिव:,राजन! महामना राजा चित्रने अपनी ओर आती हुई उस शक्तिको हाथसे पकड़ लिया और फिर उसीको प्रतिविन्ध्यपर दे मारा
tām āpatantīṁ jagrāha citro rājan mahāmanāḥ | tatas tām eva cikṣepa prativindhyāya pārthivaḥ ||
அரசே! பெருந்தன்மை கொண்ட அரசன் சித்ரன் தன்னை நோக்கி வந்த அந்த சக்தியை கையால் பிடித்தான்; பின்னர் அதையே பிரதிவிந்த்யன் மீது எறிந்தான்.
