द्रोणपर्व — अध्याय २७: सुशर्माह्वानम्, अर्जुनस्य प्रतिनिवर्तनम्, भगदत्तेन गजप्रहारः
नैव कुन्तीसुत: पार्थो नैव कृष्णो जनार्दन: । न हया न रथो राजन दृश्यन्ते सम शरैश्षिता:
naiva kuntīsutaḥ pārtho naiva kṛṣṇo janārdanaḥ | na hayā na ratho rājan dṛśyante samaśaraiḥ śitāḥ ||
மகாராஜா! அந்நேரம் குந்தியின் மகன் பார்த்தன் அர்ஜுனனும், ஜனார்தனன் ஸ்ரீகிருஷ்ணனும், குதிரைகளும், தேரும் எதுவும் காணப்படவில்லை; அனைவரும் கூரிய அம்புகளின் அடர்த்தியான குவியலால் முற்றிலும் மறைக்கப்பட்டனர்.
