भीष्मशिबिरगमनम् — Duryodhana’s Visit to Bhīṣma’s Camp and the Command Appeal

संग्रामशिरसो मध्ये सर्वेषां तत्र पश्यताम्‌ । तां दृष्टवा तादृशीं मायां राक्षसस्य दुरात्मन:

Transliteration

saṅgrāmaśiraso madhye sarveṣāṁ tatra paśyatām | tāṁ dṛṣṭvā tādṛśīṁ māyāṁ rākṣasasya durātmanāḥ ||

Translation

சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—போரின் முன்னணியின் நடுவே, அங்கே இருந்த அனைவரும் பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்க, அந்த துராத்ம ராக்ஷசன் நிகழ்த்திய அத்தகைய மாயையை கண்ட வீரர்கள் ஒரு கணம் மயக்கமடைந்து, அவர்களின் துணிவு குலைந்தது.
