धनु: प्रपीड्य वामेन करेणामित्रकर्शन: । शिरक्षिच्छेद समरे शरेणानतपर्वणा
dhanuḥ prapīḍya vāmena kareṇāmitrakarśanaḥ | śiraś ciccheda samare śareṇānataparvaṇā ||
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—இடக்கையால் வில்லை உறுதியாக அழுத்திப் பிடித்து, பகைவரை அடக்கும் வீரன் போர்க்கள நடுவில் அனதபர்வ அம்பால் எதிரியின் தலையை வெட்டினான்।
