Irāvān-nidhana-anantaraṃ Ghaṭotkaca-nādaḥ

ततः सैन्यानि सर्वाणि तावकानि विशाम्पते । निराशान्यभवंस्तत्र जीवितं प्रति भारत,प्रजानाथ! भरतनन्दन! उस समय आपकी सारी सेनाएँ वहाँ अपने जीवनसे निराश हो गयीं
tataḥ sainyāni sarvāṇi tāvakāni viśāmpate | nirāśāny abhavaṃs tatra jīvitaṃ prati bhārata ||
மக்கள்தலைவா, பாரதா! அப்போது அங்கே உமது பக்கத்தினரான எல்லாப் படைகளும் தங்கள் உயிர் குறித்து நம்பிக்கை இழந்தன.
