भीष्मभीमसमागमः — Bhīṣma–Bhīma Strategic Engagement and Counsel to the King
ते हन्यमाना: पार्थन भीष्म शान्तनवं ययु: । अगाधे मज्जमानानां भीष्म: पोतो5भवत् तदा
te hanyamānāḥ pārthān bhīṣmaśāntanavaṁ yayuḥ | agādhe majjamānānāṁ bhīṣmaḥ poto 'bhavat tadā ||
பார்த்தர்களின் தாக்குதலால் சிதைந்த அந்த வீரர்கள் அனைவரும் சாந்தனு புதல்வன் பீஷ்மனை நாடினர். அப்போது போரெனும் அளவிட முடியாத ஆழத்தில் மூழ்கியவர்களுக்கு பீஷ்மன் படகுபோல்—உடனடி அடைக்கலமும் கரை சேர்க்கும் வழியுமாக ஆனான்.
