ततः स राजा सिन्धूनां रथश्रेष्ठी महारथ: । दुर्योधनस्य जग्राह पार्ष्णि सत्पुरुषैर्व॒त:,तदनन्तर रथियोंमें श्रेष्ठ सिन्धुराज महारथी जयद्रथने कुछ सत्पुरुषोंक साथ आकर दुर्योधनके पृष्ठभागकी रक्षाका कार्य सँभाला
tataḥ sa rājā sindhūnāṃ rathaśreṣṭhī mahārathaḥ | duryodhanasya jagrāha pārṣṇiṃ satpuruṣair vṛtaḥ ||
அதன்பின் சிந்துக்களின் அரசன், ரத வீரர்களில் தலைசிறந்த மகாரதன் ஜயத்ரதன், நல்லோர்களுடன் வந்து துரியோதனனின் பின்புறக் காவலை ஏற்றுக் கொண்டான்।
