तेडभिजाता महेष्वासा: सुवर्णविकृतध्वजा: । परीप्सन्तो5 भ्यधावन्त धृष्टद्युम्नवृकोदरौ,सुवर्णनिर्मित ध्वजाओंसे सुशोभित होनेवाले वे महाधनुर्धर कुलीन योद्धा धृष्टद्युम्मन और भीमसेनकी रक्षाके लिये बड़े वेगसे दौड़े
teḍabhijāta mahēṣvāsāḥ suvarṇa-vikṛta-dhvajāḥ | parīpsanto 'bhyadhāvanta dhṛṣṭadyumna-vṛkodarau ||
தங்கத்தால் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்ட கொடிகளால் அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்ட உயர்குல மகாதனுர்தரர்கள், த்ருஷ்டத்யும்னனையும் வ்ருகோதரன் (பீமன்) ஐயும் காக்க விரும்பி மிக வேகமாகப் பாய்ந்தனர்.
