dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | varṣāṇāṃ caiva nāmāni parvatānāṃ ca saṃjaya | ācakṣva me yathātattvaṃ ye ca parvatavāsinaḥ ||
திருதராஷ்டிரன் கூறினான்—சஞ்சயா, எல்லா வர்ஷங்களின் பெயர்களையும், மலைகளின் பெயர்களையும் எனக்கு உண்மையின்படி முறையாகச் சொல்; மேலும் அந்த மலைகளில் வாழ்பவர்களையும் யதார்த்தமாக விவரித்து உரை.
