भीष्मस्य भीमसेन-निरोधः

सृष्टवा संकर्षणं देवं स्वयमात्मानमात्मना । कृष्ण त्वमात्मनासाक्षी: प्रद्मुम्नं चात्मसम्भवम्
sṛṣṭvā saṅkarṣaṇaṃ devaṃ svayam ātmānam ātmanā | kṛṣṇa tvam ātmanā sākṣīḥ pradyumnaṃ cātma-sambhavam ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்— கண்ணா! உன் ஆத்மத்தினாலேயே நீ உன்னைத் தெய்வீக சங்கர்ஷணனாக வெளிப்படுத்தினாய்; மேலும் உன்னிடமிருந்தே உன் சாரத்தால் பிறந்த பிரத்யும்னனை உருவாக்கினாய். நீயே உள்ளார்ந்த சாட்சி—தன்னிறைவு, தன்னிலிருந்து தோன்றியவன், உன் வெளிப்பாடுகளின் ஆதிமூலம்.
