भीष्मस्य भीमसेन-निरोधः

पादौ तव धरा देवी दिशो बाहू दिवं शिर: । मूर्तिस्ते5हं सुरा: कायश्नन्द्रादित्यौ च चक्षुषी
pādau tava dharā devī diśo bāhū divaṁ śiraḥ | mūrtis te ’haṁ surāḥ kāyaś candrādityau ca cakṣuṣī ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்— ஓ ஆண்டவனே! பூமிதேவி உமது பாதங்கள்; திசைகள் உமது கரங்கள்; விண்ணுலகம் உமது தலை. நான் உமது மூர்த்தி; தேவர்கள் உமது அங்கங்கள்; சந்திரனும் சூரியனும் உமது இரு கண்கள்.
