असहां मन्यमानाश्च नातिप्रमनसो5 भवन् । उसके उस विशाल रूपको देखकर सब महारथी अपने लिये असहा मानते हुए हतोत्साह हो गये
asahān manyamānāś ca nātipramanaso 'bhavan |
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—அந்தப் பெருவடிவைக் கண்டதும், எல்லா மகாரதர்களும் தம்மால் அதைத் தாங்க இயலாது என எண்ணி, தன்னம்பிக்கை இழந்து மனம் தளர்ந்தனர்.
