भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)
सात्यकिस्तु रथं त्यक्त्वा वर्तमाने भयावहे । अभिमन्यो रथं तूर्णमारुरोह परंतप:
sātyakis tu rathaṁ tyaktvā vartamāne bhayāvahe | abhimanyo rathaṁ tūrṇam āruroha parantapaḥ ||
அந்த அச்சமூட்டும் போர்க்களக் கொந்தளிப்பில், பகைவரைச் சுட்டெரிக்கும் சாத்தியகி தன் ரதத்தை விட்டுவிட்டு உடனே அபிமன்யுவின் ரதத்தில் ஏறினார்।
