Daiva–Puruṣakāra Discourse and the Elephant-Corps Engagement (भीमगजानीक-सम्भ्रान्ति)
सच पारावताश्वस्य रथे हेमपरिष्कृते । कोविदारध्वजं दृष्टवा भीमसेन: समाश्वसत्,कबूतरके समान रंगवाले घोड़े जिनके रथमें जोते जाते हैं, उन धृष्टद्युम्नके सुवर्णभूषित रथमें कचनार वृक्षके चिह्से युक्त ध्वजा फहराती देख भीमसेनको बड़ा आश्वासन मिला
sa ca pārāvatāśvasya rathe hemapariṣkṛte | kovidāradhvajaṃ dṛṣṭvā bhīmasenaḥ samāśvasat ||
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—புறாவின் நிறமுடைய குதிரைகள் இழுக்கும், பொன்னால் அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்ட த்ருஷ்டத்யும்னனின் தேரில் கோவிதார (கச்சனார்) மரச் சின்னம் கொண்ட கொடி பறப்பதைக் கண்ட பீமசேனன் பெரும் நம்பிக்கை பெற்றான்.
