तत: शब्देन महता विननाद महास्वन: । तेन नादेन वित्रस्ता कलिड्रानां वरूथिनी

Transliteration

tataḥ śabdena mahatā vinanāda mahāsvanaḥ | tena nādena vitrastā kaliṅgānāṃ varūthinī ||

Translation

சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—அப்போது பேரொலியுடன் பெருங்குரலுடைய வீரன் முழங்கினான். அந்த நாதத்தால் கலிங்கர்களின் போரணைவு அச்சத்தில் கலங்கியது.
