Rajo-dhūli-saṃmūḍha-saṅgrāmaḥ
The Dust-Obscured Battle and Mutual Charges
ततो भीष्म: शान्तनवो नित्यं मण्डलकार्मुक:ः । मुमोच बाणान् दीप्ताग्रानहीनाशीविषानिव
tato bhīṣmaḥ śāntanavo nityaṁ maṇḍalakārmukaḥ | mumoca bāṇān dīptāgrān ahīn āśīviṣān iva ||
அப்போது சாந்தனுவின் மகன் பீஷ்மன், வட்டமாக வில்லைக் கயிற்றி இழுப்பதில் எப்போதும் தேர்ந்தவன்; விஷப் பாம்புகளைப் போல அச்சமூட்டும் தீப்பொறி முனையுடைய அம்புகளை இடைவிடாது எய்தான்।
