विनिवृत्तान् कुरून् दृष्टवा पाण्डवा5पि स्वसैनिकान् । दूतैः शीघ्राश्वसंयुक्तै:ः समन््तात् पर्यवारयन्,कौरवोंको युद्धसे लौटते देख पाण्डवोंने भी शीघ्रगामी अश्वोंपर चढ़े हुए दूतोंद्वारा सब ओर आदेश भेजकर अपने सैनिकोंका भी युद्ध बंद करा दिया
vinivṛttān kurūn dṛṣṭvā pāṇḍavā api svasainikān | dūtaiḥ śīghrāśvasaṃyuktaiḥ samantāt paryavārayan ||
குரு வீரர்கள் போரிலிருந்து விலகுவதைப் பார்த்த பாண்டவர்களும், வேகமான குதிரைகளில் ஏறிய தூதர்களை எல்லாத் திசைகளிலும் அனுப்பி, தங்கள் படையினருக்கும் போரை நிறுத்துமாறு ஆணையிட்டனர்।
