तमेकमभ्यरक्षन्त सिंहनादांश्ष चक्रिरे | तत्रासीत् तुमुल॑ युद्ध तावकानां परैः सह,आपके सैनिक एकमात्र भीष्मकी रक्षा और सिंहनाद करने लगे। वहाँ आपके योद्धाओंका शत्रुओंके साथ भयंकर युद्ध हुआ
tam ekam abhyarakṣanta siṁhanādāṁś ca cakrire | tatrāsīt tumulaṁ yuddhaṁ tāvakānāṁ paraiḥ saha ||
உங்கள் வீரர்கள் அந்த ஒரே பீஷ்மரைச் சூழ்ந்து காத்து, சிங்கநாதம் எழுப்பினர். அங்கே உங்கள் படையினரும் எதிரிகளும் இடையே கொடுமையான, பெரும் கலவரப் போர் நிகழ்ந்தது.
