तानब्रवीच्छान्तनवो नाहं गनन्ता कथंचन । दक्षिणावर्त आदित्ये एतन्मे मनसि स्थितम्
tān abravīc chāntanavo nāhaṁ gantā kathaṁcana | dakṣiṇāvarta āditye etan me manasi sthitam, bhārata |
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—அப்போது சாந்தனுவின் மகன் பீஷ்மன் சிறிது சிந்தித்து அவர்களிடம் சொன்னான்—“சூரியன் தக்ஷிணாயனத்தில் இருக்கும் வரை நான் எவ்விதத்திலும் இங்கிருந்து புறப்படமாட்டேன். ஓ பாரதா! இதுவே என் மனத்தின் உறுதியான தீர்மானம்.”
