बलात् संस्तम्भयस्वैनं यत्रैषा भिद्यते चमू: । न हि भीष्मशरानन्य: सोढुमुत्सहते विभो
balāt saṁstambhayasvainaṁ yatraiṣā bhidyate camūḥ | na hi bhīṣmaśarān anyaḥ soḍhum utsahate vibho ||
“அவன் இந்தச் சேனையைச் சிதைக்கின்ற இடத்திற்கே சென்று, வலத்தால் அவனை அசையாமல் தடுத்து நிறுத்து—முன்னோ பின்னோ எங்கும் நகர இயலாதபடி. ஓ வல்லவனே! உன்னைத் தவிர பீஷ்மனின் அம்புகளின் தாக்கத்தைத் தாங்க வல்லவர் வேறு யாருமில்லை.”
