ऋते महेन्द्रतनयाच्छवेताश्वात्‌ कृष्णसारथे: । कृष्णसारथि

Transliteration

ṛte mahendratanayāc chvetāśvāt kṛṣṇasārathēḥ |

Translation

கிருஷ்ணன் சாரதியாகவும் வெள்ளைக் குதிரைகள் பூட்டிய ரதத்திலும் இருந்த இந்திரபுத்திரன் அர்ஜுனனைத் தவிர, மற்ற எந்தப் பாண்டவரும்—மகாரதராக இருந்தாலும்—பரதகுலத்தின் அந்த மாபெரும் பலமுடைய வீரனை வெல்லவோ, அவன் முன் நின்று எதிர்கொள்ளவோ துணிவுகொள்ளவில்லை.
