यदेक: समरे पार्थान् सार्जुनानू समयोधयत् । न चैनं पाण्डवा युद्धे वारयामासुरुल्बणम्
sañjaya uvāca |
yad ekaḥ samare pārthān sārjunānū samayodhayat |
na cainaṃ pāṇḍavā yuddhe vārayāmāsur ulbaṇam ||
அவன் போர்க்களத்தில் தனியாகவே அர்ஜுனனுடன் கூடிய குந்திபுத்திரர்கள் அனைவரையும் எதிர்த்து போரிட்டான்; ஆனாலும் பாண்டவர்கள் அந்தக் கடும் வீரனைப் போரில் தடுக்க இயலவில்லை।
