रथाग्न्यगारशक्षापार्चिरसिशक्तिगदेन्धन: । शरसंघमहाज्वाल: क्षत्रियान् समरेडदहत्
sañjaya uvāca |
rathāgnyagāraśaṣkāpārcirasiśaktigadendhanaḥ |
śarasaṅghamahājvālaḥ kṣatriyān samare ’dahat ||
போரில் எரியும் தீயென அது க்ஷத்திரியர்களைச் சுட்டெரித்தது. ரதங்கள் தீமாளிகைகள்போல், வில்ல்கள் தீநாக்குகள்போல் தோன்றின; வாள்கள், ஈட்டிகள், கதைகள் எரிபொருளாயின; அம்புகளின் பெருங்கூட்டமே அந்தத் தீயின் மாபெரும் ஜ்வாலையாக உயர்ந்தது.
