जम्बूद्वीपप्रमाणेन द्विगुण: स नराधिप । विष्कम्भेण महाराज सागरो5डपि विभागश:,महाराज! नरेश्वर! वह द्वीप विस्तारकी दृष्टिसे जम्बूद्वीपके परिमाणसे दूना है। भरतश्रेष्ठ) उसका समुद्र भी विभागपूर्वक उससे दूना ही है
jambūdvīpapramāṇena dviguṇaḥ sa narādhipa | viṣkambheṇa mahārāja sāgaro 'pi vibhāgaśaḥ ||
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—மகாராஜா! நராதிபா! அளவிட்ட விரிவின் நோக்கில் அந்தத் தீவு ஜம்பூத்வீபத்தை விட இரட்டிப்பு; மேலும், மகாராஜா, பிரிவுகளின்படி அதைச் சூழ்ந்த கடலும் அதேபோல் இரட்டிப்பே.
