Adhyāya 108 — Nimitta-darśana and Drona’s counsel amid Arjuna’s advance (निमित्तदर्शनं द्रोणोपदेशश्च)
दशभि: सायकैस्तूर्णमाजघान स्तनान्तरे । नकुल: सहदेवश्न त॑ं सप्तभिरजिह्दगै:,उन्होंने शल्यकी छातीमें तुरंत ही दस बाण मारे तथा नकुल और सहदेवने भी सीधे जानेवाले सात बाणोंद्वारा उन्हें घायल कर दिया
daśabhiḥ sāyakais tūrṇam ājaghāna stanāntare | nakulaḥ sahadevaś ca taṃ saptabhir ajihmagaiḥ ||
அவன் சல்யனின் மார்பில் உடனே பத்து அம்புகளைப் பாய்ச்சினான்; நகுலனும் சகதேவனும் நேராகச் சென்று இலக்கைத் துளைக்கும் ஏழு அம்புகளால் அவனைப் புண்படுத்தினர்।
