Marutta’s Sacrifice and Agni’s Embassy (मरुत्त-यज्ञे दूतत्वम्)
मरुत्त उवाच कच्चिच्छीमान् देवराज: सुखी च कच्चिच्चास्मान् प्रीयते धूमकेतो । कच्चिद्दवेवा अस्य वशे यथावत् प्रब्रृहि त्वं मम कार्त्स्न्येन देव
Marutta uvāca: kaccic chrīmān devarājaḥ sukhī ca kaccic cāsmān prīyate dhūmaketo | kaccid devā asya vaśe yathāvat prabrūhi tvaṁ mama kārtsnyena deva ||
மருத்தன் கூறினான்—அக்னிதேவா! புகழ்மிக்க தேவராஜன் நலமுடன் மகிழ்ச்சியாக உள்ளானா? ஓ தூமகேது! அவன் எங்கள்மேல் திருப்தியடைந்துள்ளானா? எல்லாத் தேவர்களும் முறையாக அவன் ஆணைக்குள் உள்ளார்களா? தேவனே! இவற்றை முழுமையாகவும் துல்லியமாகவும் எனக்குச் சொல்.
