अद्यप्रभृति कौन्तेय यजस्व समयो हि ते । मुहूर्तो यज्ञिय: प्राप्तश्नीदयन्तीह याजका:
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
adya-prabhṛti kaunteya yajasva samayo hi te |
muhūrto yajñiyaḥ prāptaḥ snīdayantīha yājakāḥ ||
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்—“குந்தியின் மகனே! இன்று முதல் யாகத்தைத் தொடங்கு; உனக்குரிய காலம் வந்துவிட்டது. யாகத்திற்கான நல்வேளை வந்துள்ளது; இங்குள்ள யாஜகர்கள் உன்னை அழைக்கின்றனர்.”
