यज्ञवाटवैभववर्णनम् / Description of the Splendour of the Sacrificial Enclosure
उपायात॑ नरव्याप्र॑ फाल्गुनं प्रत्यवेदयत् । वह बुद्धिमान् दूत कुरुश्रेष्ठ युधिष्ठिके पास जा उन्हें नमस्कार करके बोला --'पुरुषसिंह अर्जुन निकट आ गये हैं' ।।
upāyāt naravyāghra phālgunaṁ pratyavedayat | sa buddhimān dūtaḥ kuruśreṣṭha yudhiṣṭhiram upagamya namaskṛtvā uvāca—“puruṣasiṁha arjunaḥ nikaṭam āgataḥ” || tac chrutvā nṛpatis tasya harṣabāṣpākulekṣaṇaḥ ||
அப்போது அறிவுடைய தூதன் குருசிறந்த யுதிஷ்டிரனை அணுகி வணங்கி உரைத்தான்—“மனிதப் புலி அர்ஜுனன் அருகே வந்துவிட்டான்.” இதைக் கேட்ட அரசனின் கண்கள் ஆனந்தக் கண்ணீரால் நிரம்பின.
