अश्वमेधीयस्य हयस्य दक्षिणापश्चिमगमनम् — The Sacrificial Horse’s Southern and Western Circuit
गान्धारराजपुत्रस्तु पलायनकृतक्षण: । ययौ तैरेव सहितत्त्रस्तै: क्षुद्रमूगैरिव
gāndhārarājaputrastu palāyanakṛtakṣaṇaḥ | yayau taireva sahitaḥ trastaiḥ kṣudramṛgair iva ||
அப்போது காந்தார அரசனின் மகன் (சகுனியின் மகன்) தப்பிச் செல்லத் தருணம் பார்த்து, சிங்கத்தைக் கண்டு அஞ்சும் சிறு மான்கள் சிதறி ஓடுவது போல, அர்ஜுனனைப் பார்த்து அச்சமுற்ற வீரர்களுடன் தானும் ஓடிப் போனான்.
