बभ्रुवाहन-धनंजययोः संग्रामः

निवर्ततां च शब्दो5भूत् पूर्णस्येव महोदधे: । उनमेंसे कुछ लोग भागने लगे
nivartatāṁ ca śabdo 'bhūt pūrṇasyeva mahodadheḥ |
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்—சிலர் ஓடினர், சிலர் மீண்டும் தாக்கினர், சிலர் போரிலிருந்து விலகினர். ‘திரும்புங்கள்’ என்ற முழக்கம் எழுந்தது; அவர்களின் ஆரவாரம் நீரால் நிரம்பிய பெருங்கடலின் ஆழ்ந்த கர்ஜனை போல் இருந்தது.
